We received some great news for Brouder Marketing this week, Marie is thrilled to be shortlisted for the “Best Female Led Business Award” in the 2018 Sligo Business Awards. Our heading is a bold statement but it is very true in the fast paced online world of social media, reviews, blogs and 24/7 lifestyle. You need to create, manage and control your brand. Branding and a brand strategy is vital to your businesses success. If you don't, your brand will be created for you by your customers (potential customers) sharing, comments and posting imagery of your business.
Email Marketing is a cost–effective way of advertising and enables you to communicate relevant information directly to your customers or potential clients. It can also be used to build relationships with your current customers, inform them of current offers or discounts and increase brand awareness. What do you need to focus on?
The decision is made, you need a website. Where to next? Starting the process of creating a web site can be daunting task. We have broken it down into easy to understand achievable steps to take away some of the fear and keep you on track.
Applying marketing techniques to your product or a service, so you can stand out from your competition and grow your brand using advertising to build brand recognition and a good reputation for excellent service seems very straight-forward. But how do you implement this?
Do you use them? Are they prominently displayed in your business and at all events you attend. Do you reorder without ever really looking at the card and how your business has changed. Your business cards and/or your logo are often the first introduction a potential customer has to your business. They should invite potential customers to contact you and inspire the customer to do business with you.
I get a lot of questions about which email address a business should be using. So I decided to pull together a few points to consider if you are using a free account for your business email. Most people started off by getting an Eircom, Gmail or Hotmail account in college or as a personal account. It is easy to continue to use your personal account for your business.
Drive traffic to your website when people search keywords in Google Image Search. Uploading a photograph called IMG_6408 is not going to work very well. Either is renaming it by date for internal archival purposes. An algorithm can’t see what is in a photograph so we have to rename photographs so that they are optimised for search engines.
I have seen a number of business owners who don’t have time for social media and assign it to an inexperienced employee or a family member offers to handle it for them. I will leave the argument “is this a good idea” aside for the moment. Please remember this person is shaping your online identity, their posts/tweets are a representation of your business.
